Daniel Mainguy is a Professor at the Faculty of Law of Montpellier. He directs the Master 2 Droit Privé Economique (Private Law Economic) and he created the College of Law of Montpellier, in 2009.
Holder DJCE, he has a doctorate in law (« Resale », Prix de l’Académie française, 1994 Litec, 1996). He has a strong experience as a lawyer of Paris bar. He practices consulting and auditing, but also as a litigation consultant and arbitrator.

He directs the Master 2 Consommation et Concurrence (Consumer and Competition law). In addition, he is assistant manager of UMR 5815 Dynamics of Law and member of the Faculty of law Council.
He specializes in consumer law , the promotion of sales and competition law and he is a member of the Jury of Advertising Ethics (associated instance of the Professional Regulatory Authority Publicity), Commission of unfair terms and Arbitration Working Group of the National Bar Council.
Every year, he runs the International Francophone arbitration contest of Montpellier « Serge Lazareff », with Professor Daniel Mainguy . This event is organized in partnership with the Center of Mediation and Arbitration of Paris (CMAP).
